HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE AUTHOR:

Buy their books, merchandise, Audio dramas, and promote official works so that our authors can continue creating!

This translation is a project of love for fans, by fans! We appreciate each and every one of you.

If you enjoyed our work and want to show your love, we accept fanfic, fanart, comments, memes, and more stuff to translate. <3

Do you allow re-translations to another language?

NO. PLEASE DON’T.

This is because translation is already a subjective process with liberties taken, if you re-translate my work, it might stray very far from the original.

Do you allow EPUBS or re-posting?

NO. PLEASE DON’T.

We firmly request that you don’t repost the translations on any other website (especially Wattpad) in any format.

Why are your footnotes like that?

For the best reading experience, we recommend reading the chapters in the original format instead of the WordPress reader.

  • EXTENSIVE (or just so darn long)

There is inevitable loss when translating a contextually dense language. Often there are incidences of cultural, historical or poetic context that are cited briefly, but not elaborated on in detail on the novels because the audience is expected to already have some understanding of it. I try to explain these in (maybe too much detail) because this is such a beautifully written, well-researched novel.

I also like to include the more unique/archaic/uncommon terms, or wordplay/jokes or that I find significant that might aid your enjoyment or give a better overview of what’s going on as you read the story.

  • INCLUSION OF PINYIN AND THE CHINESE CHARACTERS

I’ve had feedback that people like seeing the actual Chinese characters, and the hanyu pinyin gives some idea of how to pronounce them; the reader can also C&P them to search and find out more (if this is their preference).
